I started my career at SOMMA International, a Rome-based designer and manufacturer of seismic devices and expansion joints, where I defined ITT and FCPT test specifications for elastomeric isolators and seismic devices, and supervised laboratory operations.
Between 2015 and 2016, with the StroNGER team, a research spin-off coordinated by Prof. Franco Bontempi – Professor of Structural Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of Sapienza University of Rome – I was responsible for assessing the seismic vulnerability of two strategic reinforced concrete structures located in the Municipality of Rome.
From 2016 to 2018, in collaboration with professionals with thirty years of experience, such as Eng. Carlo Bruschini and Eng. Pietro Renzo, I carried out my professional activity in the design of reinforced concrete, steel, and timber structures, as well as in various interventions for the seismic improvement and upgrading of existing masonry structures.
Since 2019, alongside my work as a freelancer, I have been a consultant for the software company Softing S.r.l., a Rome-based company that develops the finite element structural analysis software Nòlian All-in-One, where I am responsible for software validation testing and customer technical support (www.softing.it).
During the same period, I served as a consultant for SPERI S.p.A. in Rome, focusing on the structural design, evaluation, and inspection of bridges and viaducts.
From 2022 to 2024, I served as Managing and Technical Director of TECNESPERI BRIDGE DESIGNERS, a company established through the merger of SPERI and TECNE – part of the Autostrade per l'Italia Group. The company’s activities include safety assessment, defining restoration interventions, and upgrading and modernizing bridges and viaducts.
